So I bought a giraffe and built a special giraffe cage on the porch at our apartment. I payed the 500 dollar pet deposit and now I'm a little worried for him because winter is coming up and I hope he doesn't freeze to death.

I named him Pontius Pear-Slice in memory of my grandfather.

I'd like for you all to know that I, Adam Combs, am better than Matt Cruea at Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2 for the NES.

I had to kill all of the bosses myself, until out of frustration he turned off the game.

I made a 100 on my first American History Reading assignment.

Looks like the world should be coming to an end here pretty soon.

Well if my meal was a Naked Bison Burger from Ted's with Roasted Asparagus on the side, with a cherry coke (even though I'd probably get a Kidney Stone) with a bowl of Clam Chowder added on... and a Vitamin. I probably wouldn't mind eating it everyday. Even if I get tired of it. It's just food right?

My schedule this week is... (drum roll)

    Monday
    Work 10am to 5pm
(I cleaned out my car today it was pretty sweet)

    Tuesday

Spiderman helped me become a grown up.
    Alright...

So let's say hypothetically that you have two restaurants to choose from, and you must eat at one for the rest of your life.

    A. The first has only one thing on the menu. You're favorite dish. It's decent. Pretty much exactly what you expect. It gets the job done. You don't leave hungry, and hey... It's your favorite.

    B. The second has a limited menu of about 40 different dishes. Some of them are absolutely terrible, Some are ridiculously amazing, Some are mediocre.

    Which would you choose?

    Love can change the world.
I'm going to get moved to working the cash register at Zaxby's. I got a raise. It will be the easiest 6.50 an hour I've ever made. I'll be working during the day so I can actually be like everyone else and wake up early, eat breakfast, and go to work, and then later chill and hang out with other people who work during the day.

I really have been digging house church recently.

    I'm writing about Feminism.

The song on this website "Love Can Change The World" is my bomb track right now. (Hit the track forward button in the bottom right once I think)

So may we never stop this dreaming of a better world...

Doesn't change the fact that he's been a good friend.

It's great to know there are still anonymous coworkers from Ted's Montana Grill reading my livejournal.

And if you are who I think you are I have a couple of pretty good reasons not to be a big fan of you, but hey, you're still an enjoyable dude.

This may seem unexpected, probably because I don't post about the personality traits of my friends very often.

    Thomas Nguyen

I really think you're an awesome dude.

You seem to be encouraging when you need to be. You seem to be honest when you need to be. You seem to admit you're wrong when it's best that you should. I guess sometimes you make decisions I wouldn't (like smoking), but nothing you can't rectify (which you've stopped).

All I can say is you're just a Grand Slam Breakfast. With extra eggs and bacon... maybe even an extra pancake.

I had a Colorado Omelet tonight at IHOP... For some reason that's been the Restuaraunt of choice recently, and I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a big fan of Omelets. After 21 years I've finally realized that I don't really like them. You can call this a phase if you want, but I assure you. I think tonight was the night that I had my last omelet. I can't do it anymore. Eating eggs with a different array of vegetables and meats. All layered together to form a dish of egg, a delectable delight that I will have no part in. Here me once and for all...

    "It is finished"

The reign of the Omelet has come to an end.

I will no longer let it have control of my life.

Uh let's see what has happened recently.
I went to Daytona Beach camp with Milford's kids.

It was pretty cool. I take that back... I didn't really like it. That's all I'm gonna say. There were some really cool parts, but I didn't enjoy it.

I've started growing something on my face. I guess it's a beard. Zac told me to shave it, and normally Zac is honest with me about things when it comes to how I look, which is really awesome. Don't go getting any ideas that involve criticizing my looks though, because the only reason Zac can get away with it is because he looks GQ all the time. Seriously... man is Sexy.

Zaxby's hired me back on the spot. I saw one of Zaxby's old managers at church, while I was talking about having to apply for jobs. He overheard me and said I didn't have to fill out an application. Just show up. That was pretty convenient.

People at Zaxby's think I'm the greatest dishwasher in the universe, and supposedly everyone in the restuaraunt feels this way. I went in early to eat and girl who took my order said "Oh it's The Dishwashing Machine!"

    That's a cool title? I guess. Right?

The hold is removed from my registration, so here I come next semester!

    Goodbye Cruel World.
Alright so I leave for Daytona Beach camp tomorrow at 5 am.

The camp I went to with my brother’s church was pretty awesome. The kids in my brother’s youth group are really good, so obedient I don’t even think they needed chaperones.

I was the captain of a team. The Coral Team. My team lost a lot, but it’s all good. We won at Shuffle Slide: (A game where you would run and slide down a massive slip and slide and depending on how far you went you got points)… and… Relay one: (Where one teammate had a diaper on their head and dunked their head in water and ran to the next teammate who had to squeeze the water out into their mouth and run and spit it into a cup until the cup was filled to the top.) I was the guy who squeezed the water out. It was pretty gross until the cushioning in the diaper exploded. Then it was almost unbearable. I had diaper gel all in my mouth and on my shirt.

It was cool seeing my brother in action. He really loves his kids.

I went canoeing for the first time. I felt like it was going to flip over on a couple of different occasions, but it didn’t. Everything worked out well. I enjoyed it.

One of his kids named Jonathan has a strange talent to make fart noises. We combined our gifts for the talent show. I improved a song about letting gas fly for 250 people while he filled up all of the choruses with some of the most believable fart noises I’ve ever heard. The college students in the crowd probably thought it was childish. Chances are I’ll never see them again. Count it.

I introduced all of these kids to Murder Pong. They thought it was the greatest game ever.

Today I was supposed to help a friend move but instead I slept through my alarm and then didn't answer my cell phone when she called. Later I called and apologized.

    I've become increasingly lazy.

I went over to Matt's house and played Bomberman. Then the game froze. I ate a hot dog without a bun, a hamburger, and some Superman Macaroni and Cheese. I actually think it made me super strong. The SS Gertrude was one of the shapes (The Giant Boat Lex Luther rode around on in the movie). I washed some dishes while Matt read random Wikipedia articles.

"No whammy, no whammy, no whammy, no whammy...STOP!"

Then I went to the Black Well. I gotta admit I enjoyed it a lot. I've probably missed out on a lot of fun by never visiting there. Me and Zac where the only sober people, but it was awesome seeing Daniel, Chris, Andrew, Nick, The Steve, Zac, James, Patrick, some girls that are romantically involved with the guys I previously mentioned, and being around a lot of random college students. I also might've seen people I know through Livejournal, but I can't really tell who they are. There where so many people. I washed all of Andrew's dishes.

    I probably could've taken a faster way home, but I didn't mind.

Even though I have to wake up ridiculously early tomorrow, and I'm not really sure if I should goto my brother's church or Milford... Gosh I have to do som much stuff in the next few days. ROOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!111111111111

I absolutely love the people that where at Black Well tonight. Even the one's I didn't know. I'm going to bake a cake for you guys.

I'm going out of town again... and I hope it will be awesome. My brother's church is going on a youth camp and they asked if I wanted to go as a "Youth Leader".

Covenant College was pretty cool. Played volleyball with Ross Jaegar. He may be 35 but he still has an amazing spike. It's crazy. I couldn't block it. We where always on opposite teams. I haven't played in forever... that's my excuse.

Me Tommy and Zac went out to lunch today at this restauraunt. I haven't spent as much time as I would like to with Tommy and Zac...

At house church today I played more Casino. It was non-stop action. I also told the story about how I lied to Joe, Matt, and Thomas secretly and told them I was getting married.

I wonder why people feel sorry for me or are sometimes are unhappy with me when they find out I paid for their food. Maybe they're gay... and that's fine. I mean if they want to live the homosexual lifestyle that's alright with me.

Now I'm washing clothes so I can go out of town more.

Today I woke up... around 2:30pm.

I thought about going downstairs to make a sandwich... but I decided against it. I've grown increasingly lazy recently, so I've decided I should get a job.

But instead of turning in the applications I received on Tuesday I'm going to go on vacation. Covenant College in Chattanooga is my destination. I'll play volley ball and probably walk around... maybe eat.

It's probably apparent by now that I'm going to update my livejournal even though I don't really have anything to say...

Brian Chambers will also be there and we will probably have a deep and meaningful conversation on the long treacherous road ahead.

    Life's On The Line
I went around to about 8 restauraunts today picking up applications. I've realized that there's no reason to ever ask if a restauraunt is hiring unless you're talking to a manager. "We're not hiring but we are accepting applications", is like a programmed response.

I stopped by O' Charley's and ate to start filling them out. My server walked up and said "I see you have a lot of 'Aps' there man and I totally understand". I was totally confused because I was looking at the Appetizer section of the menu so I had no idea what he was talking about until he walked away and I looked at my stack of applications. I actually didn't have as much money as I thought so I only tipped him 15 percent even though he did a pretty good job.

Me and Brian went up to Traemore (might be how you spell it) to play soccer afterwards. For some reason all of the soccer goals where moved off the field, which was pretty uncool. I broke my soccer shoes half way through. The whole side of them split open. Terrible...

    Oh yeah... Happy Birthday Stephanie.

"I know there is something to be said for being content but is that happiness I know it seems that no one is ever paying attention to what I'm payin attention to when I'm paying attention to what I'm paying attention to but I forget why it ever mattered or why I even cared at all." In High School
I remember going to Jacob Boch's lake house and...

    Swimming in the lake.

Watching Zac and Kerry drive a remote control car off the roof.

People making up songs around the camp fire.

Playing rummy cube with Jacob, Danielle, and Zac.

    Playing "Battle Spheres" and Pool.

While everyone else was playing Monopoly drawing this picture of everyone playing Monopoly.

Eating a feast on the last day.

Breaking into Daniels room at night when he went to sleep and singing Disarm and My Friend Peter.

    There being no adult supervision.

    Spring Break 1998!!!
I should probably do something for my dad for Father's day... Which is technically now.

There's a huge wild eye lash growing out of my left eye. It's gotta be like half an inch long.

Today when I woke up and went down stairs I was confronted by a barrage of barking. My parents where baby sitting my brothers dog, which is the only dog I've ever seen that is completely frightened by me. It just doesn't stop barking or growling when it sees me. It's like the least scary but most effective watch dog ever.

Watching Italy play America was pretty exciting. It was a really physical game. Two American players and One Italian player got Red Carded. It annoys me to watch players over exaggerate injuries. The wedding that I skipped in order to watch the game I heard was pretty uneventful, so maybe I lucked out? Even though the game didn't decide anything.

At U.S. Cafe today I had a pretty delicious chicken sandwich... It actually came with honey mustard already on it which I thought was pretty sweet. It reminded me of the chicken sandwiches I'd get from Zaxby's when I would go in early for work and get my 50% discount on the Cajun Chicken Club with Honey Mustard instead of Ranch.

I watched the movie "Cook Out" at Brian Chamber's apartment, not for any particular reason except that it was on. I was surprised because there wasn't one stereotype throughout the entire movie (I couldn't even type that with a straight face).
